Introduction

The Moldmender mold welding machine simply places welding materials such as metal strips, metal wires or powdered metal onto the area to be repaired.It then rolls the electrode over the welding material,pre-compressing the filler material and permanently welding it integrally with the workpiece to be repaired.


Application

The mold repair machine adopts micro-welding technology to repair all iron molds such as plastic molds, rubber molds and casting molds.

It is typically used to repair defects such as parting lines, corners, edges, tiny holes, scratches and flaws caused by machining errors.

After repair, every welding spot is fused to fully integrate the repair material with the workpiece, and overlay welding is available.

The repair materials used by the machine are usually identical to the material of the workpiece to be repaired. Therefore, the repaired part features the same hardness as the original metal, allowing it to be finished by conventional machining methods.

With careful operation during welding, much of the finishing work can actually be completed during the repair process with the mold repair machine, making subsequent finishing simple and efficient.

Adopting a localized, low-heat and non-distortion welding process, the repaired area of molds and dies has no collapse, no wrinkling and no other welding defects.
