Introduction
The new-generation tungsten carbide coating equipment is a metal surface hardening machine applicable to aluminum alloy die-casting molds, stamping molds, forging molds, injection molds and other metal molds.
It adopts electric discharge coating technology to form a localized wear-resistant and ultra-hard coating on the metal surface with electrode materials.
It features no perceptible heat generated during the coating process, thus avoiding various defects caused by thermal effect. The coated wear-resistant material will not detach or peel off. The coated surface can achieve sufficient hardness without subsequent heat treatment, and can be further processed by precision grinding and other surface finishing operations if required.
Application
Tungsten-based cemented carbide: Applied to high-speed steel and other metal surfaces to extend service life and reduce wear.
Titanium-based cemented carbide: It can reinforce and repair worn tungsten-based cemented carbide materials, providing longer wear resistance.
Electrode reinforcing material: Used to increase coating thickness and repair workpiece dimensions. It restores tool size through surface thickening treatment, compensates for dimensional tolerances, prevents stamping part adhesion, and maintains the dimensional accuracy of bearings, shafts and other metal surfaces.
The purpose of this metal surface treatment is to improve productivity and reduce costs. If tools and molds are not repaired and renewed in a timely manner after wear during operation, it will eventually lead to equipment downtime and worker idle time. It also increases the time cost of setup and inspection, as well as the expense of remaking or modifying tools and molds.
